O valor social e educativo do Facebook : o ponto de vista dos adolescentes

A rede social que revolucionou a maneira como usamos a internet e, especialmente, a forma como lidamos com nossos relacionamentos virtuais. Eles servem não só para compartilhar fotos dos membros menores da família, ou passar algumas horas plantar cenouras no Farmville. Esta perspectiva é limitante e injusto. Podemos usar as redes sociais para muitas mais tarefas, tanto pessoal como profissional. O disco, dura verdade é que, embora a maioria de nós é capaz de reconhecer as realizações de Facebook, estamos cada vez mais isolados do ponto de vista social e emocional. Neste contexto, apresentamos uma investigação adolescentes de escolas do distrito de Coimbra, durante os anos lectivos de 2010-11, 2011-12 e 2012-13, a fim de compreender o valor social e educacional que os adolescentes dão para Facebook em suas vidas diárias, com dados recolhidos através de entrevista coletiva, questionários e observação participante. Os resultados mostram que a maioria dos adolescentes tem pelo menos uma conta em qualquer rede social. As redes mais populares são Facebook e Twitter, mas novos tipos de redes sociais continuam a surgir. A importância das redes sociais na cultura adolescente está crescendo e isso é parte de seu estilo de vida. Mais do que na era do conhecimento, vivemos na era da comunicação digital, o acesso imediato à informação continua. Com toda essa troca de informações, tanto de sua equipe, são questões de privacidade, segurança e abuso. A grande maioria dos usuários de redes sociais nunca experimentou sérios problemas de segurança na sua utilização, mas há riscos e, potencialmente, qualquer um pode ser um alvo. É importante saber, saber como neutralizar e melhorar a segurança no uso de redes sociais. Portanto, uma das principais contribuições desta pesquisa é a proposta de um "Guia para o Uso Educacional do Facebook."

Social networking has revolutionized the way we use the Internet and especially the way we handle our virtual relationships. They serve not only to share photos of the smaller members of the family, or spend a few hours planting carrots in Farmville. This perspective is limiting and unfair. We can use social networks for many more tasks, both personal and professional. The hard, hard truth is that even though most of us are able to recognize the achievements of Facebook, we are increasingly isolated from the standpoint of social and emotional. In this context, we present an investigation teenagers from schools in the District of Coimbra during the academic years 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13, in order to understand the social and educational value that young people give to Facebook in their daily lives, with data collected through collective interview, questionnaires and participant observation. The results show that most teenagers have at least one account on any social network. The most popular networks are Facebook and Twitter, but new types of social networks continue to emerge. The importance of social networks in teen culture is growing and this is part of your lifestyle. More than in the knowledge age, we live in the age of digital communication, immediate access to information continues. With all this exchange of information, much of her staff, are issues of privacy, security and abuse. A large majority of social networking users has never experienced serious security problems in its use, but there are risks and potentially, anyone can be a target. It is important to know, know how to neutralize and improve security in the use of social networking. Therefore, one of the main contributions of this research is the proposal of a "Guide for the Educational Use of Facebook."
