dc.description.abstractSample preparation is a paramount step of the analyticalprocess that has undergone significant improvements withinthe framework of green chemistry. The present review reportson cutting-edge advances toward greener analytical methodsinvolving sample preparation. Remarkable contributionspublished in the last two years on the implementation ofgreener solvents and adsorbents in sample preparation ap-proaches, integration of unitary steps, miniaturization, andautomation are discussed. Concluding remarks and additionalconsiderations for further improvements are also addressed.en
