Abstract

This cross-sectional study was carried out by physiotherapy students at Vigo University, following a closed questionnaire. Its main aim was that our students sheíd learn to use informatic and statistic techniques, taking as starting point the sampleís awareness of the physiotherapistís health services. According to the answers to the questionnaire, 50% of the sample have never been to a physiotherapist, a fact which implies that such services have not yet been normalised within many health services available to the public. Once they hud finished their study, via focal groups, the students carried out a qualitative analysis of their study, finding that the learning of questionnaire methodology and interpersonal relationships with the surveyed members was positive.
