AB The proposed doctoral thesis will study the application of novel industrial technologies to the built heritage: the many innovative processes in additive manufacturing used in complex industrial processes are perceived as potential solutions to certain pathologies present in the heritage built assets; as well as research in new materials, above all those related to the cement matrix, in which the dispersion of nanomaterials, especially the carbon-based ones. These nanomaterials bode promising benefits in the improvement of the properties of traditional materials. The applications of all these new technologies will have a positive influence in the evaluation of energy efficiency of buildings.
