RT Dissertation/Thesis T1 Innovative technologies and materials in the built heritage : additive manufacturing, cement-based materials and energy efficiency T2 Incorporación de tecnologías y materiales innovadores en el patrimonio construido : procesos aditivos, materiales cementantes y eficiencia energética A1 Bastos Costas, Guillermo K1 3313.04 Material de Construcción K1 3305 Tecnología de la Construcción K1 3305.32 Ingeniería de Estructuras AB The proposed doctoral thesis will study the application of novel industrial technologies to the built heritage: the many innovative processes in additive manufacturing used in complex industrial processes are perceived as potential solutions to certain pathologies present in the heritage built assets; as well as research in new materials, above all those related to the cement matrix, in which the dispersion of nanomaterials, especially the carbon-based ones. These nanomaterials bode promising benefits in the improvement of the properties of traditional materials. The applications of all these new technologies will have a positive influence in the evaluation of energy efficiency of buildings.
