The Building Energy Efficiency Engine ", with reference FTIPILOT-2015-1-720661, funded by the European Commission in the Fast Track to Innovation 2015 call within the H2020 Program. The main objective of this thesis is the development of thermographic image processing algorithms for the automatic detection of pathologies that can be found in structures, with greater emphasis on those that affect their energy efficiency. It is about establishing synergies between existing developments of image processing with application to visible images and the equations that govern the physics of heat transfer and transport phenomena. In this way, the results will be adapted to the particularities of the images acquired with a thermal camera and the characteristics of the anomalies that are to be detected. Also, the developments of the thesis will contribute to the progress of the project "TERMOINVI. Development of thermographic methodologies for the measurement of in vitro trials of hyperthermia treatments ", funded by the University of Salamanca, establishing the basis for the extrapolation of algorithms developed for solid objects (structures) to cellular tissues.
