A1 Pedrosa Pereira, Viviana K1 3303 Ingeniería y Tecnología Químicas K1 2210 Química Física AB A toxicological evaluation with three different organisms (Daphnia magna, Lemna minor and Raphidocelis subcapitata) and three distinct cell types (Caco-2, Hep-G2 and Raw 246,7) were made for two magnetic nanoparticles (Cobalt ferrite and magnetite) and copper nanowires. These nanomaterials were synthetised by co-precipitation and hydrothermal reaction, respectively, and thought to be used on a blending by extrusion in order to alter the original polymers electrical and thermal conductivity for a future use on the footwear industry.
